Privacy Policy

Ballcade · last updated September 20, 2026

1. Introduction

Ballcade ("we", "our", or "the game") is developed by Sefa Öztürkmen. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you play Ballcade on your mobile device. The game was developed under the working name "Ballz v Blocks" until August 2026 and its Android package id still carries that name; this policy applies to the same game under either name. By installing or playing Ballcade, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Ballcade is a single-player game. We do not require accounts or logins, and we do not directly collect personally identifiable information from you. However, certain data is collected automatically by the third-party services we integrate (advertising, analytics, cloud backup and in-app purchases) and by the platform on which the game runs.

2.1 Information You Provide

We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or address inside the game. When you make an in-app purchase, your payment information is handled directly by Google Play or the Apple App Store and is never received or stored by us.

2.2 Information Stored on Your Device and in Your Own Cloud Account

  • Game progress – current level, high score, and the state of the board
  • In-game gold, purchased upgrades and unlocked skins – so your progress is preserved
  • Whether Remove Ads has been purchased
  • Game settings – sound, music, and other preferences (kept on the device only)

Game progress, gold, upgrades and unlocked skins are also backed up to your own cloud storage account so they survive a reinstall and follow you to a new device: Google Play Games saved games on Android, and Apple iCloud (key-value storage) on iOS. This backup is written into your own Google or Apple account, not to any server we operate — we cannot read it, and it is governed by Google's and Apple's privacy policies. Sound and music settings are deliberately excluded and stay on the device.

2.3 Information Collected by Advertising Partners

Ads are served through Google AdMob. AdMob runs a bidding auction (mediation) in which Unity Ads, AppLovin and Meta Audience Network can also fill an ad slot. Whichever of these partners serves an ad may automatically collect and process information in order to serve, measure, and — where you have consented — personalize ads. This may include:

  • Advertising ID (AAID on Android, IDFA on iOS — on iOS only if you allow tracking, see section 4)
  • Device information (model, OS version, language, country, network type)
  • IP address and approximate (non-precise) location derived from it
  • App interaction data with ads (impressions, clicks, completion of rewarded ads)

2.4 Information Collected by Analytics Services

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played so we can improve it — for example how far runs go, how often ads are watched, and whether purchases complete. Analytics collection is OFF by default and only starts after you give consent on the in-game consent screen (where applicable). Firebase may process:

  • App interaction events (runs played, game overs, upgrades bought, ads watched, purchases made)
  • A random per-install app identifier (resets if you reinstall the game)
  • Device information (model, OS version, language) and approximate country derived from IP address

Analytics is configured in non-tracking mode: advertising-personalization signals are disabled, analytics data is not linked to your advertising ID, and it is never used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

2.5 Information Collected for In-App Purchases

When you purchase gold packs or Remove Ads, Google Play or the Apple App Store processes the transaction. We receive only an anonymous purchase confirmation (purchase token / receipt) used to deliver the gold or unlock Remove Ads on your device. We do not see your name, billing address, or full payment details.

2.6 Information Collected by Platforms

Google Play, Google Play Games Services, the Apple App Store, iCloud and other platform services may automatically collect device identifiers, account identifiers, country, and crash reports under their own privacy policies. This data is collected by Google and Apple, not by us.

3. How We Use Information

Information processed in connection with the game is used to:

  • Save and restore your progress, gold balance, upgrades, skins and settings on your device and in your own cloud backup
  • Display advertisements (including rewarded ads that grant in-game gold)
  • Verify and deliver in-app purchases of gold packs and Remove Ads
  • Understand aggregate gameplay (via Firebase Analytics, with your consent) to balance the game and improve features
  • Diagnose crashes and improve the stability of the game, using the crash reports Google Play and the App Store provide (section 2.6)

We do not sell your personal data. Analytics is used only in aggregate to improve the game — we do not build advertising profiles, and analytics data is not linked to your advertising ID or used for cross-app tracking.

4. Advertisements

Ballcade displays advertisements served through Google AdMob and its mediated partners (Unity Ads, AppLovin, Meta Audience Network), including banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads. Rewarded ads may be offered in exchange for in-game gold; watching them is always optional. The one-time Remove Ads purchase removes banner and interstitial ads; rewarded ads stay available because they are only shown when you ask for them. Ad partners may use the advertising identifier on your device to deliver personalized ads. You can control or reset this identifier at any time:

  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
  • iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (and Apple Advertising)

On iOS, the game asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any ad partner may use the advertising identifier; if you decline, the identifier is not shared and ads are limited to non-personalized ones. If you are located in a region that requires consent (such as the EEA, UK, or Switzerland), the game also shows a consent screen the first time you launch it, allowing you to choose between personalized and non-personalized ads. Your choice is passed on to every mediated partner, not only to AdMob.

5. In-App Purchases (Gold and Remove Ads)

Ballcade offers optional in-app purchases: bundles of in-game gold and a one-time Remove Ads purchase. There are no subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS) under their respective terms and privacy policies. We never receive or store your credit card number, billing address, or other payment details. Gold and Remove Ads are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or by the policies of Google Play or the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be submitted to the relevant store.

6. Third-Party Services

7. Children’s Privacy

Ballcade is suitable for general audiences and is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the game shows advertising and offers in-app purchases, parents and guardians are encouraged to use the parental control features available on Google Play and the Apple App Store to manage purchases and content for younger users. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game or its advertising partners, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Data Security

Game progress, gold balance, upgrades and skins are stored on your device using the operating system’s standard storage, and backed up to your own Google Play Games or Apple iCloud account so they survive a reinstall. That backup is held in your account by Google or Apple and is protected by their security; we operate no server of our own and hold no copy of it. Communication with advertising and purchase services is performed over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Because we do not maintain accounts or our own user database, there is no personal profile for us to access or delete. You can control your data through the following actions:

  • Reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings, or decline the tracking prompt on iOS
  • Opt out of personalized ads — and of analytics collection — through your device settings or the in-game consent screen (Settings → Privacy Choices, where applicable)
  • Request deletion of the analytics data associated with your app instance by contacting us; uninstalling the game also resets the per-install analytics identifier
  • Manage or cancel purchases through your Google Play or Apple App Store account
  • Clear the app’s data in your device settings, or uninstall Ballcade, to remove the game data stored on the device
  • Delete the cloud backup separately if you also want it gone: on Android through Google Play Games (Settings → Delete Play Games account & data, or the game's saved-game entry). On iOS the backup lives in iCloud key-value storage, which has no per-app entry in Settings; contact us and we will help you clear it

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when new features, ad networks, or purchase options are added to the game. Updates will be reflected on this page along with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
