1. Introduction
Listis ("we", "our", or "the app") is developed by Sefa Öztürkmen. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Listis mobile application. By using Listis, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Display name – The name you choose to show in the app (anonymous users are assigned a random guest name)
- Email address – Only if you register with email or sign in with Google
- List content – Shopping lists and items you create within the app
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Anonymous user identifier – A temporary ID assigned when you use the app without an account
- Device platform – iOS or Android (used to provide the correct experience)
- Purchase and subscription data – Managed by RevenueCat (see Third-Party Services)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and sync your lists across sessions
- Enable list sharing with other users
- Manage your subscription status (Listis Pro)
- Allow you to sign in and recover your data across devices
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
Listis uses the following third-party services that may collect data independently:

5. Anonymous Users
If you use Listis without creating an account, a temporary anonymous account is created automatically. Your lists are saved in the cloud under this anonymous identity. If you later create an account or sign in, your data is transferred to your new account and the anonymous identity is removed.
6. Data Sharing
Your list content may be visible to other users only when you explicitly share a list using the invite link feature. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising or analytics purposes.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is stored as long as your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at: sefaozturkmenn@gmail.com Upon request, we will delete:
- Your user profile from our database
- Your lists and list items
- Your Firebase Authentication account
Purchase history managed by Apple or Google cannot be deleted by us and is governed by their respective privacy policies.
8. Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices including:
- Firebase Security Rules to restrict data access
- Role-based access control for shared lists (admin/member)
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
9. Children’s Privacy
Listis is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
